The material is not manufactured with PVC or plasticizers, and it has a low environmental impact. POBE has the lowest carbon footprint and environmental impact compared to PVC and polyurethane
LoFric catheters made in Sweden are sterilized via irradiation (Sterile R) and not sterilized with Ethylene Oxide (EO). EO is on the Prop 65 list of chemicals known to the state of CA to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.
